Hi there,

I am half way through installing my new hard drive, and as I opened my laptop, I was shocked to find how much dust there was inside.

I would like to remove this dust before it has a serious effect on the performance of my mac.

Would someone be kind enough to give me advice or a few tips or maybe even refer me to a previous thread?

Thanks for the help.

P.S I also find it very strange that they didnt remove any of the dust when the computer was bieng fixed by an applle genius in covent garden only a month ago, I guess if it overheats then I will have to buy a new one, so they are probably trained not to remove any dust, or tell me that it is a problem.

Use compressed air to blow the dust out.

I wouldn't, just stick with the air. You could damage some of the delicate components if you try to use a brush and aren't sure what you're doing.
