Hello. I bought my Mac Book Pro in late 2009 and recently decided to pick up an HDTV. I purchased an LG37' LD450 and wanted to use it as a screen from my Mac Book Pro. I went to the apple store and bought a mini displayport to HDMI cable. (already have a regular hdmi cable). When I connect everything together a "no display" appears on my HDTV. I've gone into system preferences and "mirrored" the displays, I've tried every different resolution it offers and still no picture on my TV. However when everything is connected a second "display" window comes up labeled "LG TV" but I've messed with every setting and have not got it to work. The HDMI cord is fine since it works on my PS3. Any suggestions???
