Is there a way to set it so when you select text and right click then "search with Google" it opens the search in a new tab instead of using the current page?

TIA

Absolutely yes, hold down the "cmd" key when you click "Search with Google".

Hope this helps

Is this the only way? There is no way to make it automatically do this?

Thanks.

Thanks, I'll look around for an extension.
