iPhoto 11 lost my albums

I recently upgraded from iPhoto 8 to iPhoto 11 via the Apps Store. After I installed it, and it imported the pictures from the old version, I noticed many of the albums I created were empty. :Lips-Are-Sealed:

Try starting iPhoto while holding the "cmd+alt" buttons, when it starts up you should have an option to rebuild the photo library database and repair permissions on it etc, try this.

I tried it but it did not work. It does look like the photos are still in iPhoto so I will just create new albums
