Exporting To Lossless Formats With Garageband?

Hi guys.
I recently finished my first song in Garageband and I would like to export it to a lossless format. I haven't found the option to export to lossless (just to AAC and MP3, but not AIFF, WAV, or even ALAC). Is there a way to export my projects to a lossless format in Garageband? Or if you recommend something like Logic for that kind of tasks, can I open Garageband projects on it? Keep in mind I'm using an orchestral pack on this song.

you should be able to open GB songs in Logic, because Logic uses the same plug in (AU) format. if you bought a jam pack, those are still compatible with logic.

as for AIFF files, there is a workaround involving iTunes:

Thanks for your quick answer. What codecs does logic support for lossless, and how expensive is it?

i think logic express is about £160. studio is quite a bit more, but the most noticeable additions for Studio would be Space Designer (nice reverb) and Sculpture (nice Synth). and about 40GB of Apple Loops.

it supports exporting to WAV, AIFF, Apple Lossless, MP3, CAF, Sound Designer 2.
