Mac mini DVI to HDMI display issue?

I recently bought a mac mini, one of the original models and have been having problems connecting it to my vizio 32" tv. I'm using a DVI to HDMI cord, but whenever I boot the mac up nothing gets displayed other than a flash of light blue after the startup noise... Any ideas? Thanks.

Yeah I'm having the same issue with my new MBP and HDMI to MDP. :)

System Preferences -> Displays -> Detect Displays -> Make sure resolution is something your TV can handle, if it's showing up in Displays (Otherwise it will show nothing) -> Check TV's settings as well.
