My macbook turns off whenever I unplug it. This first started happening about two weeks ago. I have reset the SMC but not the PRAM because i'm not sure if it is related to this problem. Also, the battery is fully charged and all the lights turn on. After it turns off, I cannot turn it back on without putting the power cord back on.
Here is some info about my battery:
Charge Information:
Charge remaining (mAh): 4825
Fully charged: Yes
Charging: No
Full charge capacity (mAh): 4826
Health Information:
Cycle count: 477
Condition: Normal
Battery Installed: Yes
Amperage (mA): 0
Voltage (mV): 12545
What I find interesting is that it doesn't turn off EVERY time I unplug it. It was fine for about a week from when it first started till now. I was on my mac today with it unplugged and about 75% battery remaining and it just turned off. I am thinking that the battery is dead because it has gone through 477. Any thoughts?
Thanks
