Old film look

I was wondering how in final cut/ motion or shake 4, I can make the video have that transition where it looks kinda old and burns away to the next clip, its one of those artsy styles where its orangish yellowish and kinda dissolves like an additive dissolve but a little more special effected.

Does anybody know how to do this? or Do i need some plugin?

The closest thing I am aware of to that would be an After Effects plugin from digieffects I use called CineLook. I believe you can use AE plugins for Motion... I have never tried to use it for a transition like that but I'm sure you could do something similar by setting keyframes to force the "film damage" to get worse and then better on the other side of a transition. That's just an idea. I don't know what you budget is though considering it isn't the exact transition you want... Cinelook runs around $550 and it seems like for that price you should be able to find something that does exactly what you want it to.
