Bootcamp microphone issues

17" Unibody Macbook Pro
OS X SL
Bootcamp Windows Vista Ultimate x64

I've got a weird issue with my MBP in Bootcamp running Windows Vista Ultimate 64. Whenever I turn up the volume, the internal microphone starts feeding back to the speakers so I get a really loud squealing noise. I've tried disabling the microphone in control panel but it does not help at all. Is there some way to fix this??

have you installed the latest bootcamp drivers (through windows)?

(off the internet, not the disc)
