G3 Tower Cd rom drive replacement

Hi everyone,
I had a friend break the CD rom drive in her computer. It is a Green G3 Tower. She put in the cd in the drive. She forgot to push the drive back in and when the phone rang she hit her knee on it and busted it. I think that she has Mac OS 9 on it. Does any one know how to replace one and where I can get one for cheap? She would like a DVD rom drive if it is not to expensive. She does not need a burner.

On www.shrevesystems.com a complete G3 tower is $49. It might be worthwhile to buy a complete computer for parts rather than buy just a replacement CD.
