I'm impressed. I like what Apple is doing especially since it now seems that they are the leader in using new technology. According to that article, it looks like the MBP 13" model will not be equipped with Light Peak but rather it will only be available on the 15" and 17" models. Looks like I may need a few more Apple gift cards. Donations anyone? :)

According to the Tech Specs page for the 13" MBP, it has a T.B. port.

I'm afraid my Apple gift cards are not enough to get a new 15" MBP. We have enough to get the 13" model though. Now I need to decide whether we need the better and discrete graphics that the 15" offers.

Anyone have any idea whether or not the built in on board CPU Intel HD 3000 GPU is any good? I'm looking for benchmarks but can't seem to find anything specific.

Edit: Just found this site. LINK What it seems to say is that the HD 3000 is better than its predecessors but not as good as a discrete nVidia or AMD GPU.
