Just downloaded a torrent with a bunch of different codecs for quicktime, and now that i've extracted the folder to my desktop, I'm not sure what the next step is in installing them into quicktime. suggestions?

Many times they go in the Library/Quicktime folder on your hard drive.

What codecs were in the torrent file?

I am curious to know what codecs were in the pack you downloaded because I have yet to find a complete set that allows me to play the most obscure of file types. Now I have vlc media player, but I would like to find a way to make quicktime as compatible as vlc. If possible could you please provide me with a link to the torrent or subsequently the codec pack itself?

Thanks
