Internal speakers won't work!

Yesterdat I plugged into my macbook a pair of normal mobile phone headphones. After I released them, the internal speakers won't work...the computer won't even recognize them!!!

Any clue?!

The headphone audio jack may be stuck. Try using a strong toothpick to release it or just use the male plug from a set of headphones - inserting and gently pulling them out several times.

Hi,
Did you check the System Preferences in the sound section.
make sure that the "Play sound effects through : Internal Speaker "
