Hi,

Just wondering if anyone can help me?

I've had my MacBook pro since Jan 2009 and I have recently reset it back to the factory settings. Although I've had some trouble with the disc drive in the past, I installed the OS again through the disc drive which worked fine.

Now I want to install snow leopard and the drive wont mount the disc. It just spits it out after a few seconds.

Is there anything I can do to fix it?

Thanks

Back to my old 2.2GHz C2D MB after selling my MBP and wondering what my next Mac will be :)
Is the disc dirty or scratched?

Since you mentioned that this has happened in the past, I would try using a lens cleaner, or just a can of compressed air and a quick blast into the superdrive.
