I looked for a previous thread on this but didn't see it - I would be surprised if this hasn't been posted before.

Is there anyway to sync 1 Itunes libraries between 2 computers other than manually transferring them with a flash drive????

I don't currently have Time Capsule but am in the process of getting it - will I be able to use this to sync?

If you are on a wireless network, Home Sharing works well.

I have the same problem. So I'm sorry if I'm missing something, but it is there a way to actually have the two libraries sync, and therefore be stored on both hard drives? (I do have a time capsule, if thats any use).

Maybe provide more info.

Have you turned on Home Sharing?

Can you see the other computer in iTunes?

Have you set it up to sync between your computers?

Where are you at?

Yes, I've home sharing on, and can see the other computer,

Just can't see how I sync two Libraries? I see how to transfer purchases to each other. Isn't this different to syncing two entire libraries?

I can't see a sync tab/check box.

You have to manually drag everything the first time from one to the other. Use the "Show: Items not in my library" - highlight the whole passle of them and drag 'em over.

Then you'll use the Settings you've already found to keep all new purchases synced automatically.

Ok, I appreciate your help with this. But I can see how to do all this. However if I rip a cd on one computer, will this copy over automatically? If I delete a track on one will it be deleted on the other. Home sharing is surely different to synchronisation?
