Unable To Open Yahoo Mail

Hi Everybody,

Over the last 4 days I have been able to open my Yahoo mail from the Yahoo page.
Also I am unable to connect to Apple.Com through Safari or Firefox.
I have reset Safari and uninstalled Firefox and downloaded a fresh download for Firefox, still can't open my mail from the yahoo page.
From the Mail program on my imac I am able to access my Hotmail.
Is it possible I have picked up a virus.
I am running the virus program BitDefender.
