It's that cat again! :)

Seriously, that is almost certainly what has happened. I'm not at my Mac right now to look, but I suspect if you look in settings you might find your answer, and/or someone else might chime in who does know.

Unfortunately that may change things for the worse!
Liquid and Laptops do not mix. There are all kinds a strange things that can happen when you play with the settings, which is what I assumed from your first post. But, that may not be the case here. Especially depending on how the mess was cleaned up.

We have a sticky on one of the sub forums regarding spills and computers. I'll try to find it for you.

EDIT: Found it. Read the top thread (sticky) in the forum you posted this message in. In will tell you pretty much what to expect. Hope everything turns out okay.

And i think Razor hit it on the head. Liquid(of any type) + Electrics = Death

Here is a quick step to the Sticky :)

The Official "I spilled liquid in my MacBook, what do I do now?" thread

On a lighter note, glad it wasnt the cat again. ;P

Cheers

The "kitty" problems are easy to solve, but vomit on a keyboard is another matter. :\ Might be time to completely take the machine apart and attempt cleaning it. A search through these forums should bring up posts on the many ways that users have successfully and unsuccessfully cleaned their machine to get them back in working order.
