USB audio and Audio port on mini work together?

Im looking at adding my subwoofer on my system, will usb audio still work if I plug in my subwoofer to the back of my mini?

It should since the Mini has a separate Audio in and Audio out. Why not try it out and let us know for sure?

Nope It's a headphones jack and it shuts down the USB audio. Is there a setting to change that I wonder?

I forgot that it was also a headphone jack. I don't think there's a way to stop it from shutting down the speakers when you plug something in. Possibly a way to use your sub-woofer is to attach an external USB sound card. Here's an example of one that should work.
