fireworks not responding

this is really weird, just today fireworks stopped working. when i start it it gets through all the loading but when the splash screen disappears nothing comes up and it says not responding in the dock. any ideas?
ive deleted and reinstalled fireworks, dis crons and permissions but none of it works.

You need to delete the Macrovision folder (can't remember where that is) and the re-activate it. That should solve the problem.
