Coca Cola recipe leaked - rumour

The Coca-Cola Recipe May Have Leaked Out; So What's Merchandise 7X?

And there's more links. It's all over the net.
The recipe was never patented. Cause to patent a recipe you need to tell the patent office what the recipe is. And Coca Cola didn't want to do that.

Despite making up only one percent of the drink's total formula, Merchandise 7X is what provides the unique taste. According to the recipe replica, it consists of alcohol, orange oil, lemon oil, nutmeg oil, coriander, neroli and cinnamon.
So there you go coca cola has a tiny bit of alcohol in it. So do you need a RSA ticket (Responsible Service of Alcohol) to serve it now? :)

I just read that yesterday on Yahoo. It's actually pretty interesting how the only two guys who knew the receipe weren't even allowed to travel together in fear that they might both die in a car crash.

If this leak turns out to be true, they can kiss their trade secret goodbye.

I use to use Coca-Cola to strip rust off screws and other things when I used to build/repair bicycles...

Coca Cola can strip paint. I don't even want to know what it can do to the inside of my body. I haven't had Coke/Pepsi in years and I intend to keep it that way.

A n old friend of mine worked at the factory where it's made, and some of the concentrate got spilled once. It ate a hole in the concrete floor.
Never touch the stuff either!

The acidity of soda is about the same as the acidity of grapefruit juice. Both will strip paint, the enamel off your teeth, rust off of metal, and kill you if you drink a few dozen liters in a few hours.

Also applies to lemonade, or oranges, or vinegar, or any of a dozen other things people put in their bodies every day.
