Is the iMac 27" Quad Core machine running the same exact display as the 27" Cinema display bought separately, or is it a scaled back version of it?

I think its the same. when you price out the 27" monitor and a mini, its close to the same price as the Imac. so im figureing yes its the same screen. the cases are a little different tho. but, it's definantly worth the money for the 27"...check out my post with a photo of my 27" cinema monitor and mini.

I picked up a 21.5" but I regret not getting the 27" and considering sending it back. I originally was going to get a mini as I just want to get used to the OS and see if I want to switch but if I do switch I need a high end monitor for photography. Been debating about the 27" Cinema display or the NEC 27" which is more expensive but a better display.
