XnView MP beta 0.35

I have used XnView for many years on PCs, then a month or so ago installed the latest version of the multi-platform version (MP) on my IMac. The IMac soon tagged it as unstable, so I got rid of it. I think the MP beta 0.35 is a newer version than the one I originally installed.
Has anyone had either good or bad experiences with 0.35? Also, how risky is it to to use an app that is tagged "unstable"?

It's not risky to use it, just means that the program itself may become unstable and stop working/ crash sometimes, or maybe not work at all...
The only download for Mac I can find on their site is the XnViewMP beta v0.21. Where have you found the 0.35 download?
