Connect Numark 2 channel mixer to virtual dj on mac

essentially what im trying to do is connect the mixer into virtual dj so i can then mix using that rather than the onscreen one. i know it can be done but i dont how or what sound card or cables i would need...cheers

15" MBP, 2.5GHz i7, 750GB, 6770M 1GB, iPad 3, iPhone 4, custom PC
what outputs does the Numark have? it should have either USB or firewire if it is capable of this.

plug this connection into your computer. then it should install drivers. if you got a disc with the mixer now would be the time to put that in.

then you should go into virtual DJ and setup the mixer as a control surface.
