I picked up my new stuff today and all I can say is wow, the build quality performance and visuals on this stuff is amazing. its great and the new mouse and keyboard work much better than the old MS stuff I had connected.

it was 1400 bucks but it was soooo worth it in the end!

Maybe we should make it into a sticky in the Switcher Hangout and all have it in our signatures ;P

Well after using it last night, all I can say is awesome, the monitor kicks ***, the magic mouse took some time to figure out but that's a work of art, keyboard, well. It's construction is beautiful but I'm still getting used to the layout and command keys.

Photos will be posted today.

I'm just waiting on my 8 gig of ram and my 750 gig hd to finish up my mini.

It's going to be a perfect machine for the wife and I .

Sounds like it's going to be the focal point of the house ;)
It also sounds like an awesome setup and I can't wait to see the pics and be jealous of it ;P

It's going in our bedroom for a year and a bit. Our new home office is being used as a therapy room for our son who has autism. He comes first. Apple products are becoming an integral part of his therapy to. iPod and iPad is a revolutionary tool for children with autism. It is a great monitor tho very bright and sharp. As soon as I get the new hd in the mini, I'm downloading aperture and working on photos.

I'm glad that not only are Apple products bringing you pleasure but also a fantastic use for them too. I wish you all the best!! :)

Did you try to shrink your icons to the smallest size possible to give the "illusion" that you have more real estate? ;D

ha ha! to funny buzzard. There is no substitute for monitor real estate.

I would have a 42" apple monitor if they made one!
