I uninstalled X11 a while ago and now I need it to run MATLAB so to my understanding can I just install it from the install disk? I'm using OS X 10.6.6 SL Will that version that is on the disk be the most up to date version?

Thanks

Download Pacifist and see if you can install from system disc and then update if necessary via Software Update.

can't I just pop in the disk and choose it from there?

EDIT: I fixed it, I reinstalled X11 and then was able to install MATLAB...finally
