Hi.
I just got a new (first one) DSLR Canon T2i camera and the instructions say I should load their Digital Professional Photo and EOS utility software before I transfer pix to my mac. From what I can tell, DPP is reduntant and I just upgraded to iLife'11 and Snow Leopard. I don't want to clutter up my mac if I don't need to load their software to load my pix. Any help is appreciated...Thanks.

Just use iPhoto...canons apps are crap, especially on the Mac.

iPhoto will recognize the camera or the SD card with the pictures and you'll be all set.

Thanks!

Thanks. I checked out a couple of Canon forums and they also said Canon apps did not work real well with mac. Just loaded pix and everything is working perfectly with iPhoto. I'm good to go. Thanks again.
