Hi guys, Im very much upset to see my newly bought macbook pro to freeze in grey screen when I first turned it on. After couple of restarts it opened and able to install SL. After installation it keeps freezing during Mac OS is running. After restarting gives this error code:

panic(cpu 2 caller 0x5b7dbdd4): NVRM[0/1:0:0]: Read Error 0x00000100: CFG 0xffffffff 0xffffffff 0xffffffff, BAR0 0xc0000000 0x7e970000 0x0a5480a2, D0, P1/4
Backtrace (CPU 2), Frame : Return Address (4 potential args on stack).

I reinstalled Mac OS, it was worse, freezing every 5 min. After I wanted to a hard formatting by doing 35 phase pass. after understanding it will last for days, Im now trying zero out data.

What do you think if it keeps freezing after this format ? I will really appricate any help. Thanx

Agree with Harry here, if you have bought it NEW, take it back to Apple or wherever you bought it and get it looked at/ replaced, it should be covered by AppleCare if brand new or under 12 months old.
