Hey all,

I don't know why this is happening and I've never encountered it before. I changed my Podcast section to CoverFlow one day and when I went to my Music library that had changed as well. But I like my Music library in List View, so I changed that, then went back to my Podcast library, and that had changed to List as well. But I like my Podcast library in Grid view. This is how they have been for over a year! Music - list, Podcast - grid. How can I achieve this again? I need the view settings to be independent of one another between libraries.

Thanks for the help.

Best,
Taylor

Haven't seen this before, but one at a time in the following order, I'd try:

Reboot
Repair permissions - only because I've seen this fix some pretty strange issues
Remove the iTunes plist file

Thanks for the response.

Tried the first to steps to avail.

Can I expect other things to happen if I delete the iTunes plist file? I don't want to do that without knowing what I'm getting myself into.

Thanks!

You'll have to reset any preferences in iTunes that you have changed from default.

But, just move it to the desktop. Restart iTunes. If it fixes it, then trash the plist file. If not, Then just move it back to it's original location.

In each of the folders, open Show View Options. Check the box at the top next to "Always open in _____ view."
