Hi there,
Just want to make sure I'm covering all my bases here. I've ran through this stuff (on 10.5 and 10.6), and any other rec's would be great:

⁃ run Apple Hardware Test
⁃ no problems with RAM or other hardware
⁃ Repair disk and permissions start up disk
⁃ have sufficient RAM and available disk space
⁃ third party applications for updated, compatible
⁃ drivers and kernel extensions updated
⁃ network connections and cables for peripherals all good
⁃ removing peripherals

The only thing I can think of that is left would be an archive and install, but I would like to avoid that if possible.

Lemme know,
Jon

Open the crash log and look at it. The last couple of lines of the top section can sometimes give a hint of the root cause. The long list below that is basically all the drivers that are loaded.

Clarification

Thanks for the tips guys, sorry I wasn't more clear in the first post, but I am writing some documentation for my work, and I was hoping to get more troubleshooting ideas.

I don't have a crash log to post, but that is definitely going on the list.

Any other ideas?
