Hello,
I have a MacBook, and up until this week I had no problems with my built in web-cam, I was able to use it for skype and photo booth. When I tried to use it yesterday, I got a message saying: "There is no connected camera"
How do i solve this issue?

Thanks (in advance)

Have you tried other applications to detect the camera? Photo Boot and Skype?

Lastly, how old is the MacBook?

It could be a software permissions issue in accessing the iSight camera, try repairing disk and permissions...

Boot into your OSX dvd, go to Utilities > Disk Utility, click your HDD, click the First Aid tab, click Repair Disk, once done click on Repair Disk Permissions. This could take some time so be patient with it.

Hopefully this will sort the issue.
Keep us posted ;)

When is the last time you restarted your computer? I had the same issue. Just restarted my computer and it came back.
