I am finally about to make the switch to Mac and am looking for a seamless method of transferring my music. I found a link on Cnet to a piece of freeware called CopyTrans TuneSwift and was wondering if anyone has had any experience with it?

There is no need for any 3rd party software. Merely turn on Home Sharing from within iTunes on both machines while connected to your home network and transfer away. I use this to seamlessly keep my Win 7 and Macs in sync with each other.

Welcome to the Mac Forums.

You don't need special software to transfer your iTunes library from your Win machine to your new Mac. Just follow the directions given here at the Mac OS X Hints site. LINK
