micro dvi to hdmi lead

Hi there, newbi alert!!
My husband and I have been PCers for ever, but both got i-phone 4's last year. We have now bit the bullet and got an imac 3i.
My question is, is it possible to buy a micro dvi to hdmi lead? We want to plug the mac into the tv to watch movies. This may be an incredibly daft question so please don't yell at me... LOL! My husband bought a lead but the plug is totally wrong and we have since found out that it is for much older macs.

Thank you so much for your help, I think we've come to the conclusion that we could (almost) buy an apple tv for the price of the adaptor.
Something to think about first.
