G5 crashing one or twice when turned on. using saffire pro40

Hey all, my PowerMac G5 1.8ghz, 1.5 gb, keeps crashing when switched on first, sometimes twice. I'm using a Saffire Pro40 sound card with Logic and onec it's had it's two crashes I can record for hours not bother. Here's the report I'm getting

You may be experiencing kernel panics. These many times are caused by hardware issues. That sound card you mentioned may very well be causing the problems. I would suggest two things:

1. Remove the card & see if the "crashing" continues. If the crashing stops...then you know the problem was related to the card.

2. Go to the manufacturers website for the sound card...and see if they have any updated drivers/software for the card.

when this happens for pro tools hardware, usually trashing pro tools preferences will do the trick. however i use logic without hardware, so i wouldnt know what to do relating to this.
