iPhone screen replacement

Im not sure my question fits this forum but I really need help and I hope you could give me a hand...

I replaced my cracked iPhone 3Gs glass but I damaged the black rubber sealing around it and now the new glass is sticking out.
How bad is it? :S Should I just take it off? Do you think I can buy something like this on ebay?

You probably can find that on eBay, it isn't too much to worry about but it is there to help protect the screen. If you are always very careful with your iPhone then you should be ok, but to be on the safe side I recommend getting it replaced when you can.
