Hello everyone,

I currently own a 160GB 5400 HD and I want to upgrade it, now my question is

Momentus XT 500GB 7200

or the normal

Momentus

or if you have any suggestions?

my current one is already down to 20GB left and I'm thinking of switching and using the 160GB as a windows 7 hard drive that I can boot up from.. good idea? lol
Thanks!

the momentus 500gb 7200 drive is a really good drive. ive had absolutely no problems with it.

i dont think i have an XT, i cant remember.

i dont think windows supports booting from external drives.

hey mzslave. noise wise, its exactly the same as the stock 5400 hitachi. same with vibration.

istat pro reports 34 degrees while running safari and itunes.

(by the way, this isnt that solid state hybrid drive, they've had bad reviews. bobtomay has one, so i would ask him if thats the drive you wanna know about.)
