Before switching to mac all my PCs (mostly Dell but others as well) let me shut the system down by a quick single push of the power button. This sent a command to the OS to shut the unit down normally with out any mouse or keyboards commands. Can a MacMini do this? I know I can tell it to have the power button put it to sleep but it doesn't seem to be able to be set to initiate a shut down. I have a dual Mac Mini based A/V on a mobile platform which I need to be able to shut down the Minis without having visual access to the desktop screen. Any ideas? maybe some kind of remote triggered script?
