Unlocking ip4 instead of jailbreaking.

I have no need for jailbreaking but I would like to unlock my phone for other carrier services. Any way I can do this?

I believe you have to Jailbreak it to unlock it, unless you can get your service provider to it for you.

Google it, there's instructions out there.
