Hi Everyone,

just thought I d carry out some maintenance on my mbp this morning. An error came up on disk utility repair and advised me to boot using my original disk.

When I re-boot holding down the c key it just goes into my normal home page and not into the intended??

Can anyone shed any light please?

Regards,
S

Try booting the machine and just after the startup chime (but before the grey screen) hold down the "alt" key. This should give you the option for booting into your HDD or your DVD.
