Am new to the world of the Mac so would appreciate any help!

After uploading pics from my camera's memory card into iPhoto, its available capacity has mysteriously shrunk from 8GB to 113MB. The format is MS-DOS (FAT32); do I need to change this for use with my Macbook?

Many thanks! Sandra

Your SD or Compact Flash card went from being 8 gigs to 113MB? I've never heard of something like this happening because of an app or OS. Have you tried putting the card back into your camera and formatting it? This is something you should do each time you dump photos anyway.

Try that if you haven't and see what's what. For the record, all memory cards are formatted for FAT32 See my screenshot.
