I have 4 external drives. All used to be attached to a win7 machine and were NTFS. When I learned that I couldn't write to them with OSX I formatted all of them to Fat32 and set the permissions to read and write. In the last week 2 of them have spontaneously reset themselves to read only. Any ideas as to why and how I might stop it?
