iPhoto's Question

I have an iMac with iPhoto 11. I copied a folder called pictures to my pictures directory. Then I opened iPhoto and chose import photos. Now that iPhoto imported these photos, can I delete the folder that I created with the original photos ?

Yes, you can delete the folder in your pictures directory.

Unless you want to keep them as a backup outside of iPhoto.

Only if you have the Copy To iPhoto Library option ticked in iPhoto>Preferences>Advanced
