My library is on my MAC, actually via an external drive. My wife has her Windows computer in another room. We both have ITunes and we both use the "Share" feature.
I can find no simple explanation (if one exists) for her to access my ITunes library (which she is able to do via Sharing) and then download or copy a song from my Library into hers. Keep in mind her ITunes works only for her IPhone.
I have tried to copy, no luck. Dragging a song into her "Music" folder doesn't work, as I cannot drag anything into any folder on the left hand side of ITunes.
I have seen software that claims it does this, certainly nothing free I have found.
