Ughh new lcd troubles..

Okay so i bought a new screen for my macbook pro a1260(an oaf stepped on the laptop eek >.<). So heres the real problem my lcd connector does not reach the side. This OEM screen has its port on the right side instead of left so my cable cant reach it... So is there some sort of extension wire or possible just an off brand cable would do the trick. All I need is a longer cable.

Right, I see..... so you have the wrong display, and you need a longer cable, which I can't guarantee would work even if you got the longer cable.
If you know what model the display is for, then you could go to some of the following links and get the cable for that model and see if it works.

Person i bought it from on ebay got my old lcd serial number to find me a similar one he said this one would be compatible so my only problem is the cable ill try the links thanks
