We are having a problem with GarageBand 11. Unless my MacBook Pro is connected to the home wireless network, it won't start. It just hangs. You have to force quit the application (it says that GarageBand is not responding) After connecting, GarageBand starts fine.

Any ideas?

Try turning off airport on your MB and try again.

When I turn Airport off, it seems to work properly, any ideas on how I can get GarageBand to work with Airport on and no wireless network?

Just an update...I found that if I left GarageBand it will finally start without the wireless network on but it takes a long time.

With the wireless network on (or Airport off), the program starts very fast.

Is it relatively simple to completely delete Garage Band and re-install it?
