Lately, I've been having a lot of difficulty with my work iMac.
Within minutes of booting up, I receive kernel panics, more frequently accompanied by screen glitches such as horizontal lines or holes in windows.
Often I don't even make it past start-up, and I receive a kernel panic before I can login.
I'm currently working in safe mode and everything seems to be running smoothly. No glitches, no kernel panics. No sign that the computer will immediately shut down. In fact, I'm thinking of simply working in safe mode from now on.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I've reinstalled the previous RAM we used (we've recently installed new RAM, and we thought that this may have been the problem), and I've run Apple Hardware Test. Both have not improved matters, and the test came back free of issues.
Please let me know if I need to include anymore information that may assist.
