I have my mbp for 9 months and It never found my home desktop everytime, only some times.
but I could easily connect to it using automount maker or in finder with go -> connect to server.
I haven't change anything (at least as far as i know) and now my mac can't find or connect to my desktop...!
my desktop see's my mac on the network and can connect to its shared folders but my mac can't see the desktop.
my other laptops at home runing windows xp and ubuntu can see the desktop too, so i don't know what is wrong!
workgroup is the same. please any help would be good
