Macbook order help please

Hey i'm interested in buying a macbook. At the official website its price is nearly 1000 dollars, so nearly 730 euros. However, I leave in Europe and I can orber it like that. If I tell a friend of mine who lives in USA to buy it for me and send it privatelly, will I pay any tax? please please please answer !! :)

How would we know the laws of your country and what tax might be imposed when it passes through customs?

Depending on which country you live in, it may wind up costing you more that way after paying import duty and VAT. If you know someone who will be visiting your country soon, ask them to buy it and hand carry it to you instead.
