Problem installing

Hey there guys I am trying to install Final Cut Studio onto my macbook pro, but when I am installing it just says update rather than install.

Can anyone help me out?

Where did the disc you're trying to install it with come from?

What version of FCS? ... OS X?

Have you got a previous version of FCS? Or even a demo version of the software already installed? If so remove it before installing the new version.
