Can't open some websites?

Hi

For some reason I cannot open some websites i.e jjbsports, laurashley.

Running MAC OS X 10.6.6.

I have fun a forefox cookies cleaner and used Onyx.

Have tried forefox and safari with the same results.

I am sure I need to do something simple but don't know what - any help appreciated.

You will need to give us the complete URL's so we can check.
Any error messages when you try to connect to these sites ?
Any print screens you can share with us.

Those sites work fine from here in Firefox.
Have you tried another browser like Safari or Chrome or Opera ....

i have tried to open these websites on my pc with the same problem.

i have spoken with virgin who provide the cable and they claim that it is to do with the server in my area and nothing to do with the broadband.

is it realistic that 3 websites would all have the same problem at the same time?
