Can't exit iPhoto

iMac 21.5 9/3/10 OS X Mavericks 10.9.1 Firefox 26,0 iPad, iPod Touch
Pop up window says a burn is in process which it isn't. Can't find support to instruct how to stop burn and exit.
Using iMac 4 months old

Press Apple+Option+Escape, and the Force Quit dialog will come up. Highlight the program you want to quit and click Force Quit.

PS - The Apple key is also known as the Command key.
